Power to Change

As a collaborative project between Youth Connections, Larkfield Children’s Centre, Larkfield Housing Association and Artist Collevtive. The nine months project will focus on establishing an Arts Community Hub with weekly access to local artists who will provide a range of arts-based activity to help develop a voice for the wider community helping people achieve greater wellbeing, to increase community cohesion and peoples’ life chances, enabling them to develop new skills for lifelong learning resulting in an enhanced connectivity across the community. Arts focused workshops aimed at engaging with communities and individuals in a process of change to improve health and environments, to increase community cohesion through intergenerational projects, and to provide free accessible, enjoyable, whole community activities.
